About Us
Nicholas St. George, CFP®, CRPC®, CPFA, BFA - Owner & Lead Advisor
I work with a select group of families, professionals, and business owners who care deeply about one thing: building financial freedom on their own terms — without giving in to cookie-cutter templates or tax surprises.
My drive to help people goes beyond credentials (though I’ve got plenty). What truly sets me apart is my commitment to honest conversations, a warm handshake (or Zoom wave), and building long-term relationships rooted in trust and clarity. I often joke I have to be honest — I’m too slow to run and too big to hide.
Why I Do What I Do
My finance journey started young — winning a stock market game in grade school, sparked by a childhood thank-you share of Disney and IBM from my grandparents. That curiosity led me to a finance degree at Bryant University — and eventually to the designations and licenses that allow me to serve clients with skill and integrity through LPL Financial.
Today, I live in Denver, NC with my wife Kelly and our two kids, Bo and Caroline. Their future is my daily reminder that planning isn’t about charts — it’s about giving real people real choices. Outside the office you’ll find me playing golf or hockey, swimming, or trolling the deep sea for the big catch.
What I Stand For
At the heart of St. George Wealth is a simple mission: to guide you through the messy, emotional, occasionally confusing world of money — and deliver a clear, actionable plan that turns your goals into reality. I’m not here to sell you products. I’m here to build a financial partnership.
My core values:
Transparency & Integrity
No hidden fees, no fluff. I work exclusively for you.
Customized Planning
You’re not a template. Every plan is tailored to your life, not a powerpoint.
Responsiveness & Partnership
As your financial co-pilot, I stay in the trenches with you through every market shift or life chapter.
Our Approach
Investing and planning isn’t about beating benchmarks — it’s about staying on course to meet what matters most: family, freedom, legacy. That’s why:
- Risk = missing your long-term goals, not short-term volatility.
- We don’t chase returns; we build plans. Plans based on your life — not on yesterday’s returns.
- Whether markets roar or roar softly, the goal remains the same: to help you sleep at night and enjoy life with confidence.
Who I Serve Best
If you’re 40+ and serious about building or preserving wealth — whether you’re a busy professional, small business owner, or family-focused planner — we might be a great fit. Especially if you care about:
Smart, Tax-Sensitive
Planning
Independent Fee-only Advice
With No Conflicts
Holistic, Long-term Strategies Tied to Your Lifestyle — not Quarterly Benchmarks
Clarity. Confidence. Control.
No matter where you are on the path to retirement — early planner, mid-career strategist, or 5-year-out finisher — the Anchor Process helps you make smarter decisions, reduce taxes, and design a retirement you actually enjoy.
It’s your turn to chart the course.
Why People Hire Me
People don’t hire me because they “can’t do this themselves.” They hire me because they’re done trying to juggle it all alone. Why clients choose St. George Wealth Management:
You want a real plan, not random products
Every relationship starts with a comprehensive financial plan that coordinates your investments, taxes, cash flow, and estate wishes into one strategy.
You’re tired of vague advice and sales pressure
As a fee-based fiduciary, I’m paid for advice—not transactions—so recommendations are built around your goals, not quotas.
You care about taxes as much as returns
We use tools like Holistiplan and a tax-aware investment approach to help you keep more of what you earn over time—not just chase headline performance.
You want someone who actually coordinates with your team
I regularly work with your CPA, estate attorney, and other professionals so everyone is pulling in the same direction.
You value structure and follow-through
The Anchor Process™ gives you a clear roadmap—Groundwork, Insight, Design, Launch, and Stewardship—so your plan doesn’t die in a binder.
You want ongoing guidance, not a one-time binder
Your life will change; your plan should, too. We build long-term relationships with regular reviews and adjustments as milestones and markets shift.
You prefer straight talk over jargon
My job is to make this understandable and actionable so you can make confident decisions, not nod along to complexity you don’t actually buy into.
